Terri Herring-Puz


Terri’s practice primarily involves workers compensation, including both Washington State Labor & Industries and Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation claims, including Non-appropriated fund and DBA claims.  She also represents plaintiffs in personal injury actions involving work site accidents, including those on the waterfront.  


Terri has been licensed to practice in Washington since 1988, and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, the Worker’s Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG), the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and is an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ).  Terri is active on Legislative issues involving workers compensation in Washington, and stays connected to issues which affect injured workers both locally and nationally.


Terri graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 1984 with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Political Philosophy and Psychology. She received a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Puget Sound, School of Law in 1987.  Terri has been with Welch & Condon since law school.
Terri’s time outside of the office is spent with her husband their big dogs, and with their ever growing family coming and going!
